A little piece of vintage kitchen history! 🌺
This charming vintage Hall's Superior Quality Kitchenware Red Poppy set features a beautifully ribbed ivory pitcher paired with its matching shallow serving bowl.
The pieces are decorated with Hall's wonderfully cheerful red-orange poppy blossoms and black foliage, creating that unmistakable vintage kitchen look. The softly sculpted/ribbed forms add even more character.
The pitcher and bowl make a lovely matched display, and the pieces could be used together for serving or enjoyed simply as a vintage decorative set.
Details:
Vintage Hall's Superior Quality Kitchenware
Red Poppy pattern
Made in U.S.A.
Ivory/cream ceramic body
Red-orange poppy and black leaf decoration
Ribbed/fluted molded design
Matching pitcher and bowl
Pitcher approximately 7" tall
Bowl approximately 9" across
Hall's Superior Quality Kitchenware backstamps on both pieces
Hall's Red Poppy pieces are generally associated with the 1930s–1950s era, although I would avoid giving an exact production date for this particular pair without additional documentation.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with expected age-related wear. The pieces show some discoloration/wear around the unglazed foot rings consistent with age and use. I don't see any obvious chips or cracks in the photos, but please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.
A wonderfully nostalgic pair for the vintage kitchen collector—or anyone who thinks flowers belong in the kitchen even when they're not growing in a vase.
